大型民族舞剧《醒·狮》，舞动着熊熊狮魂，叫醒的不止是醒狮。舞剧《醒·狮》于2018年首演，以第一次鸦片战争中广州三元里抗英斗争为故事背景，讲述了两位舞狮少年面对爱恨情仇、家国大义等不同人生抉择时的自我觉醒与蜕变，反映了南粤儿女不屈不挠的抗争精神。除了正宗南拳外，舞剧《醒·狮》中还汇入广东狮鼓、岭南曲风、木鱼说唱等诸多南粤非遗元素，如同粤港澳三地人文碰撞交融的缩影。
