在佛山禅城南庄，有一项民俗活动延续了200多年，那就是禅城区十大民俗活动之一的文昌诞。3月9日，“儒意·孔家村”甲辰年中国南庄孔家文昌诞民俗活动在南庄镇罗格孔家村举行，活动中举行了孩童开笔礼等精彩仪式，并且发布了“儒意·孔家村”文化IP。

文昌诞是罗格孔家村的传统节日。在古代，文人学士们会祭拜文昌帝君，祈求他保佑自己学业有成、金榜题名。而罗格孔家村自古就有拜文昌的习俗，早期只是本村人参与，后来邻近四乡也前来祭拜以求科名。文昌诞习俗在这里绵延数百年，是一项拥有广泛群众基础的传统民俗活动，在新时代更是被赋予了凝聚乡情、鼓舞心志的新内涵。
