Chinese artists paint the“Green and Beautiful Guangdong”
At3:00pm on November1,2024,the opening ceremony of the"65th Anniversary Series of Activities of Guangdong Academy of Painting"will be held in the Canton city,and the event will continue until December15.On October25,the works will be open to the audience in advance.
the works of this exhibition cover a variety of art categories such as Chinese painting,oil painting,murals,lacquer painting,showing the magnificent picture of“green and beautiful Guangdong”,vividly telling the Chinese story,the Greater Bay Area story,and the Guangdong story of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
The stunning huge work
The size of this work reached3meters by16.8meters.It took about4months for the completion of the creation.The teem gathered19well-known painters.The work describe the natural beauty and ecological beauty of Guangdong in the form of huge flower-and-bird paintings.It is a new exploration,breaking through the previous pattern of production dominated by figure painting and landscape painting.
Since late June,Guangdong Academy of Painting has started to invite national masters,in-service painters of Guangdong Academy of Painting,and specially invited young painters to visit the representative regions of"Green and Beautiful Guangdong"for research and sketching.In early July,Guangdong masters took the lead and first made a preliminary idea ofthe layout and content arrangement of the collective creation.
In terms of picture layout,the whole picture of the work"Green Beauty Guangdong"is permeated with grand natural scenes and orderly spatial order,and southern plants and animals are included in a magnificent picture.This long scroll constructs an ecological world in a broad scale,creating a broad realm where all things grow as one.
Highlight the Canton style
Lin Lan,one of the main creators of this huge work,Vice Chairman of the China Artists Association and Chairman of the Guangdong Artists Association said:"I particularly value the word'beautiful'in'Green and Beautiful Guangdong'.We want to record it.This is the original intention of us to take park in."
Lin Lan said that"green"is the focus of this work.Guangdong is evergreen all year round."Green"is the characteristic of Guangdong.The main task and central task of the work is to portray this characteristic.
"Respecting nature,adapting to nature,protecting nature,and harmonious coexistence between man and nature is a very important issue at present."Fang Chu Xiong said.
"I am a flower and bird painter.I always sing praises to life.Singing for life is my philosophy.Plants can't speak,trees can't speak,I am its spokesperson,I love nature."The famous flower and bird painter Chen Yongqiang expressed his joy of participating in the collective work.
Yin Shuyu,a painter from the north and a first-class artist of the Chinese Academy of Painting of the Chinese Academy of Arts,said:"The theme of this work coincides with the spirit of Lingnan and traditional flower and bird paintings.One is the presentation of the entire Lingnan weather and natural landscape,the other is the presentation of today's ecological civilization,and the third is the artistic presentation of our entire flower and bird painting power."
Liu Haiyong,a professor at the China Academy of Art,believes that the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has been thriving over the years,and the theme of"Green and Beautiful Guangdong"is very suitable to express this vigorous spirit of struggle and the atmosphere of the times.
Paint a beautiful home together
This excellent exhibition contains five parts.
The"Beautiful Home"section exhibits works expressing regional characteristics selected by professional art institutions in21cities in Guangdong Province,which is a collective presentation of the power of art in Guangdong's new era and new journey.
The"Beauty and Sharing"section invited32famous artists from important art institutions across the country to participate in the exhibition,promote the exchange and mutual learning of art creation,and convey a new understanding of the ecological concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature with fine art.
The"Loyal Heart"section exhibits the masterpieces of30full-time painters of Guangdong Academy of Painting that took half a year to create,expressing the natural ecology and historical and cultural landscape of Guangdong,and poured out their care and love for this hot land of Guangdong.
The“Green Melody and New Style”section exhibits works by20young artists from Guangdong,conveying the young artists’awe of nature,concern for ecology,and understanding of the times,and presenting the young artists’rich,diverse,and active creative thinking and creative spirit from multiple angles.
"This activity has far-reaching significance for using art to help the ecological construction of Green and Beautiful Guangdong,increase the supply of high-quality culture product,promote the high-quality development of Guangdong's literature and art,and enhance the radiation and influence of the art creation camp in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area."deputy director of Guangdong Academy of Painting Zheng Apai said.
Fang Tu,former director of Guangzhou Academy of Painting,highly praised the creative form of in-depth painting exchanges between artistsof different ages andfrom the north and south through thisecological theme.He believes that showing Green and Beautiful Guangdong through exchanges between the north and the south hasspecialmeanings."The Lingnan School of Painting has explored likethis many times before.Guan Shanyue and Li Xiongcai,representative figures of the Lingnan School of Painting,are the pioneers of'going out'and'bringing in'."

展现广东天蓝、地绿、水清、景美生态画卷
2024年11月1日下午3：00，“广东画院建院65周年系列活动——全国名家共绘‘绿美广东’主题美术作品展”开幕式将在广州举行，活动将延续至12月15日.10月25日，作品提前向观众开放。
记者从现场获悉，作为“全国名家共绘‘绿美广东’主题性美术创作活动”的成果展示，本次展览的作品涵盖中国画、油画、壁画、漆画等多种艺术门类，主题鲜明、题材多样、风格多元，从不同角度展现了绿美广东生态建设辉煌壮丽的画卷。
此次展览分“时代芳华”“美丽家园”“美美与共”“丹心同铸”和“绿韵新风”五个部分，生动讲述了人与自然和谐共生的中国故事、大湾区故事、广东故事。
巨幅花鸟画《绿美广东》震撼亮相
全国名家共绘‘绿美广东’主题美术作品展现场，让观众最为震撼的非“时代芳华”部分巨幅花鸟画《绿美广东》莫属。
该幅作品尺寸达到3米×16.8米，从定稿到创作完成历时4个月左右，创作主力汇聚了广东画院和全国重要美术创作研究机构19位知名画家，以巨幅花鸟画的形式描绘广东的自然之美、生态之美，是大型主题性美术集体创作的一种新探索，突破了既往由人物画、山水画主导的创作模式。
作品背后，留下来的一张张大画草图，记录下了主创团队的创作思路。无论是白描出之，还是写意绘就，抑或是草草数笔交代的画面布局，从全幅到每一个局部的构思，都经过反复推敲。
从6月下旬开始，广东画院便着手邀请全国名家与广东画院在职画家、特邀青年画家赴“绿美广东”代表地域调研采风写生。7月初，由广东名家领衔，首先对这次集体创作的画面布局和内容安排做了初步构思。
著名花鸟画家、广州美术学院教授方楚雄介绍，大画草稿的设计和布局分“山林之美”“岭南佳果”和“湾区花开”三个部分，从右往左依次展开。从起稿到实施，再到画面的调整，南北画家之间相互借鉴、融合、印证，求同存异。
中青年创作骨干则全程参与协助创作。广东画院通过以项目创作带动人才培育的方式，在合作和传承中坚实了美术人才力量。
在画面布局上，作品《绿美广东》整幅画面以宏大的自然场景、有序的空间秩序贯穿，纳巨木、繁花、佳果、翎毛等南国植物、动物于一个壮阔的画面。区别于传统折枝和文人花鸟画，这幅长卷是在一个广阔的尺幅当中来构建生态世界，在空间布局上以全景花鸟画的形式来呈现，将花鸟画与山水画结合起来，营造了一个万物一体生长的博大境界。
在题材选择方面，作品《绿美广东》取材于南国动植物题材，所入画的热带花木，多为传统较少或罕有涉猎的花鸟题材。
“山林之美”部分，首先映入眼帘的是热带雨林扑面而来的大自然的鲜活气息，从热带巨木局部特写到硕大木棉、梅花，皆采用写实手法，回到自然尺度，把热带植物当人来刻画；“岭南佳果”部分，描绘了荔枝、木瓜、芭蕉等岭南特色风物，色彩绚丽；“湾区花开”部分，巨大榕树撑起画面，珠江三角洲各地市花置于画面前景，繁花盛开，热烈灿烂，突显了广东自然生态的面貌和特点。
在对象塑造方面，作品《绿美广东》严格地遵循写实主义的原则，突出物象的形态特点、精神特征，强调形神兼备。这就要求艺术家对南国花木、翎毛具有训练有素的观察能力、准确的造型能力和游刃有余的笔墨表现力。
在表现技法方面，工写结合，根据物象特征，或工笔，或写意，或兼工带写，在疏中求密，在繁中求简。
在整体色调方面，根据不同的生态特征和生命感觉，充分调动色彩的语言特性，以华丽、鲜活、明快、沉稳的明艳色调，准确还原热带花木的形态和色彩特点，诠释了绚丽多彩的南国意象和自然生态，力求体现生生不已的南国生态家园的精神气质。
凸显广东特色、湾区特点和岭南风采
《绿美广东》主创之一、中国美术家协会副主席、广东省美术家协会主席林蓝告诉记者：“我特别看重‘绿美广东’的‘美’字，我们要去记录它、反映它、传播它，这是我们发动全国名家来参加这次‘绿美广东’主题创作的初衷。”
林蓝说，“绿”是这次创作的重心。每个地方有每个地方的特色，广东四季常绿，“绿色”是广东的特点，作品“绿美广东”的主要任务、中心任务，就是要刻画出广东“变得更绿，绿得更美”的特征。“我想这幅画一定是具有广东特色、湾区特点和岭南风采的一幅绿美长卷。”
方楚雄认为，广东森林的覆盖面积占到53%，名列中国前茅，所以广东是一个最绿的省份。
“尊重自然、顺应自然、保护自然，人与自然和谐共生是当前很重要的一个议题。我在构思的时候，就想把广东最有特点的植物体现出来。”方楚雄告诉记者。
“我是花鸟画家，我从来都是歌颂生命的。为生命而歌，是我的理念。植物不会说话，树不会说话，我是它的代言人，我热爱大自然。”著名花鸟画家陈永锵表达了通过参与集体创作《绿美广东》来反映当前生态文明建设和绿色发展时代主题的喜悦。
来自北方的画家、中国艺术研究院国画院一级美术师阴澍雨说：“来到广东，我能感受到岭南这种地域风貌和地域文化的气息。这幅创作的主题内涵与岭南和传统花鸟画的精神是相重合的，一个是整个岭南气象、自然风貌的呈现，另一个是今天生态文明时代风貌的呈现，再一个是我们整个花鸟画创作力量的艺术呈现。”
“我们相互合作、相互交流，把全国画家集体的力量、广东画院集体的力量呈现出来。从这几个方面看，这次集体创作是非常有意义的。”阴澍雨说。
中国美术学院教授刘海勇则认为，这些年来粤港澳大湾区一体化发展，欣欣向荣，用《绿美广东》这样的主题创作很适合去表现这种朝气蓬勃的拼搏精神、时代气象。所以，他觉得这次创作主要从花鸟的生命精神去弘扬和表达这个时代伟大进程中呈现出来的蓬勃生机。
“这么大的尺幅，尤其是花鸟画，把多种植物表现在这么一个广阔的画面上非常不容易，而且这个画面要很多广东有代表性的植物去和谐，需要非常好的设计和创作理念。”主创之一、北京画院专职画家李雪松认为，用广东代表性的这些植物去把“绿美广东”这个主题反映出来，是非常贴切的。
共绘美丽家园，促进美术交流互动
展览的“美丽家园”部分展出广东省内21个地级市专业美术创作机构选送的表现地域特色作品，是广东新时代新征程美术力量的一次集体呈现。
记者在现场看到，艺术家们以广东现代都市，山地林场、河流湿地等自然资源和历史人文资源为素材，展现新时代绿美广东天蓝、地绿、水清、景美的生态画卷。
“美美与共”部分邀请32位全国重要美术创作教学研究机构的美术名家参展，促进美术创作研究的交流互鉴，以艺术精品传递对人与自然和谐共生的生态理念的新理解。
“丹心同铸”部分展出广东画院30位专职画家历时半年创作的表现广东自然生态和历史人文景观的力作，倾注了对广东这片热土的关怀和热爱。
“绿韵新风”部分展出广东20位青年艺术家的作品，传递青年艺术家对自然的敬畏、对生态的关怀、对时代的感悟，多角度呈现青年艺术家丰富、多样、活跃的创作思维和创造精神。
广东画院副院长郑阿湃认为，此次“全国名家共绘‘绿美广东’主题性美术创作活动”，将有效地增进广东省与全国各个地区美术领域的互动与交流，进一步呈现新时代绿美广东生态建设成效，强化对高品质生态环境支撑高质量发展的理解。
“本活动对于以艺术助力绿美广东生态建设、增加高品质精神文化供给、推动广东文艺高质量发展以及增强粤港澳大湾区美术创作阵营的辐射力、影响力具有深远意义。”郑阿湃说。
广州画院原院长方土高度评价南北名家、老中青画家通过“绿美”这一生态主题进行深度绘画交流的创作形式，他认为通过南北的交流来展现绿美广东，有不同的意义。“岭南画派此前对此已经有过多次探索和实践，岭南画派代表性人物关山月、黎雄才就是‘走出去’‘引进来’的先行者。”
“像李可染先生的《万山红遍》、傅抱石先生的毛主席诗意画，还有古代很多主题性创作，之所以能流传下来，我觉得首先它是一件经典的艺术作品，在艺术性基础上有一个主题性。”天津美术学院中国画学院院长周午生认为《绿美广东》同样秉承了这一理念，高度体现了主题创作的艺术性。
